Site Feasibilities
At Volt Space we conduct thorough site feasibility studies to assess the viability of a Private Wire solar farm for your business. We evaluate key criteria, such as your energy consumption, pattern of use, and site variables such as grid infrastructure, cable routing, visibility, and the local planning constraints.
Power Purchase Agreements
The key to low and stable energy costs is locking in a Power Purchase Agreement at considerably lower prices than grid based energy. We structure fixed price PPAs at terms of 5, 10 or 15 years, with options to renew.
Land
We work with local landowners to secure long term rights for the facility, in locations set away from, but in proximity to your sites. The rights are held by the project development entity, or by you for self-funded schemes.
Planning
We co-ordinate with specialists planners to prepare first class, fully researched and well-supported planning applications. We commission all the necessary studies and reports to support the application, leaving no details to chance. We track the application throughout, diligently answering queries and requests, to ensure the highest success rates.
Construction
We ensure only trusted and tested installers are engaged and we oversee the entire construction process from start to finish, from layout design and equipment specifications, to laying the framework, panels and cabling. We also handle all communications with the local grid operator to ensure a smooth connection to the grid.
Fail-Safe Long Term Energy Supply
After commissioning is complete, we co-ordinate the the relationship between consumer and solar power operator to ensure an effortless continuity of energy without delay or hassle, with daily forecast supply updates and monthly metering and billing.

WHO WE ARE
Founder & CEO, Christopher Gadsden has over 30 years experience in real estate, planning, finance and renewable energy.
He has a business degree from Latrobe University, and a masters in finance at the Securities Institute of Australia. He started his career as a Real Estate Analyst and Commercial Property Surveyor. In the UK he has held senior positions for leading real estate fund management firms and was CFO of an investment firm investing in renewable energy. He was admitted to Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 2015.
Chris has a vision to provide cheap and clean energy to businesses across the UK, increasing their competitiveness, bring enhanced income landowners, and get us closer to our 100% renewable energy targets. He focuses on assembling solar projects to achieve the “triple-win”, great outcomes for landowners, energy consumers and the climate.
Chris is supported by a network of trusted advisers and consultants who are deeply experienced specialists in the fields of design, planning, grid connections, PPA customisation and execution, instalations, land rights and legal matters.
